Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our interior design services, process, and what you can expect when working with Jetifo.

The timeline varies depending on the scope and complexity of your project. A single room redesign typically takes 4-6 weeks, including initial consultation, concept development, material selection, and implementation. Full home renovations usually require 3-6 months to complete properly.

During the first week, we conduct site visits and discuss your requirements. The design phase takes 2-3 weeks, where we create detailed plans and 3D visualizations. Once approved, procurement of materials and furniture takes another 2-4 weeks. The final installation phase depends on the extent of work needed.

We provide a detailed timeline after the initial consultation, breaking down each phase with specific milestones. Rush projects can be accommodated with adjusted schedules, though we recommend allowing adequate time for sourcing quality materials and ensuring proper execution.

Our comprehensive packages include initial consultation and space assessment, detailed floor plans with furniture layouts, 3D visualizations showing the finished space, complete material and colour palettes, furniture and fixture specifications, and coordination with contractors and suppliers.

We also provide shopping lists with exact product details and sources, lighting design plans, window treatment recommendations, and accessory styling suggestions. Throughout the project, you receive regular updates and have direct communication with your assigned designer.

For renovation projects, we offer additional services such as architectural drawings, building regulation compliance checks, project management, and site supervision. Each package is tailored to your specific needs, and we can adjust services accordingly. All packages include two rounds of revisions to ensure the design meets your expectations.

You have complete flexibility in how you procure items for your space. We provide detailed specifications, product codes, and supplier information for everything in your design, allowing you to purchase directly if you prefer. Many clients choose this option to manage their budget independently.

However, we also offer procurement services that can save you time and often money. Through our established relationships with suppliers across London and the UK, we typically secure trade discounts of 15-30% on furniture, fabrics, and materials. We handle ordering, delivery coordination, and quality checks, ensuring everything arrives as specified.

A hybrid approach is also common, where clients purchase some items themselves while we source specialty pieces or custom elements. We remain involved regardless of the procurement method, verifying that all items meet the design specifications and coordinating delivery schedules to ensure smooth installation.

Absolutely. We regularly work with existing pieces that hold sentimental value or remain functional and stylish. During the initial consultation, we assess your current furniture to determine what can be effectively integrated into the new design scheme.

Sometimes pieces need minor updates to fit the new aesthetic. We might suggest reupholstering a sofa in a contemporary fabric, refinishing a wooden table, or repositioning furniture to better serve the space. This approach not only preserves meaningful items but also makes the project more budget-friendly.

We create designs that blend old and new seamlessly, ensuring your existing pieces enhance rather than compromise the overall look. If certain items don't suit the new direction, we discuss alternatives and help you decide what to keep, donate, or replace. The goal is creating a cohesive space that reflects your personality while respecting your attachment to cherished possessions.

Your satisfaction is essential, and we build revision rounds into every project. If the initial concepts don't resonate with you, we schedule a detailed feedback session to understand exactly what isn't working. This might involve adjusting the colour scheme, changing the furniture style, or rethinking the layout entirely.

We include two full revision rounds in our standard packages, which covers most projects comfortably. Each revision involves presenting updated concepts with 3D visualizations, allowing you to see changes before any purchases or work begins. We encourage honest feedback throughout the process, as this helps us refine the design to match your vision.

In rare cases where extensive changes are needed beyond the included revisions, we discuss additional options and associated costs upfront. However, our thorough initial consultation process, where we gather detailed information about your preferences, lifestyle, and aesthetic tastes, typically ensures we're aligned from the start. Most clients find the first or second concept captures their vision with only minor adjustments needed.

About Jetifo

Creating functional and aesthetically balanced living spaces across London since 2015

Our Journey

Jetifo began in a small studio in Islington, where founder Sarah Mitchell worked on residential projects for friends and family. What started as a passion for reimagining spaces grew into a practice serving clients throughout London and surrounding areas.

The name Jetifo combines elements representing our approach: thoughtful planning meets creative execution. We established our first office in 2015 with three designers and a clear focus on residential interiors. Today, our team includes seven specialists covering spatial planning, material sourcing, and project coordination.

Each project taught us something new. A challenging Victorian terrace in Camden showed us how period features can coexist with contemporary needs. A compact flat in Shoreditch demonstrated that smart storage solutions can double usable space. These experiences shaped our methodology and deepened our understanding of how Londoners live.
